Pierre Lebrun one of hockey's most respected insiders believes that the Bruins may be on the verge of making a move.
Lebrun is reporting that first Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli attended the Blues vs Blackhawks game on Wednesday and that was quickly followed by Bruins assistant general manger Don Sweeney attending the Blues game against Nashville on Thursday.
The Bruins are scouting the Blues forwards, it's been a position Boston has been trying to improve at all season, as to who they are looking to acquire is unknown. The Blues were rumored to be looking to move Patrick Berglund but that was for a trade involving Jordan Eberle of the Oilers. A player like Berglund would likely come at a relatively high cost, and there is no word on who the Bruins would be willing to move in a deal.
