Bruins place 24 year old John Beecher on waivers today

The Boston Bruins have placed 24 year old forward John Beecher on waivers today.

The news broke while Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman was live-on air with Vancouver based podcast/radio show Donnie & Dhali with Don Taylor and Rick Dhaliwal and Friedman broke the news that he thinks the Vancouver Canucks and the Montreal Canadiens both have interest in making a claim on Beecher.

Beecher has just one goal in six games with the Bruins this season, after putting up three goals and 11 points in 78 games last season.
