It's hard to believe but it's been over two months now since the hockey world said 'goodbye' to former NHLer. The 31 year old who played 334 NHL games for the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils was found dead in his Milton, MA home. A coroner's report found that Hayes had died from a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.

The Boston native was beloved by fans and teammates at virtually every stop he had in the NHL, but he's most beloved by his hometown Boston Bruins fans. Because of that, the Bruins have elected to honor his life prior to their game against the Florida Panthers this Saturday evening at TD Garden in Boston.

Both teams will wear special jerseys with Hayes' nickenames "HAYESY" and "BROADWAY" emblazoned on the back for warmup. Both sets of jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with the funds benefitting a charity chosen by the Hayes family.

Hayes leaves behind a wife, two young children and, of course, his brother Kevin Hayes of the Philadelphia Flyers.
