The Bruins just announced they inked a new deal with Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson in a surprising twist of events.

Forsbacka-Karlsson, which everyone call JFK, was a Boston University centerman until late yesterday, but he decided to forego his remaining time in the collegiate level to join the pros. He was expected to play a third year in his former team, but it seems he received an offer he couldn't refuse.

He was drafted as a second round, 45th overall in the 2015 draft. The 6'1'', 192lbs forward had 33 points in 39 games this year with the BU team and he's developing nicely.

His reputation is of a very smart player who has a deep comprehension of the game and positioning. He's skill developing as a scoring player, but he already shows a lot of progress.
