Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar is the 2022 Norris Trophy winner as the National Hockey League's best defenseman, winning the award over Victor Hedman of the Tampa Bay Lightning (whom Makar and the Avs are currently facing in the Stanley Cup Final) and Nashville Predators captain Roman Josi:
