There are plenty of eyes on the Calgary Flames, as starting goaltender Jacob Markstrom remains a hot trade candidate as the NHL Trade Deadline approaches.
However, thanks to an injury to backup Dan Vladar, GM Craig Conroy has been forced to go to the American Hockey League for reinforcements. Dustin Wolf has been recalled, while Vladar has been placed on injured reserve.
Wolf has racked up a record of 18-7-2 with the Calgary Wranglers, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Flames, with a 2.27 goals against average and .927 save percentage; he also has four shutouts.
Meanwhile, Vladar has a 7-7-2 record with a pedestrian 3.27 goals against average and .888 save percentage.
