Calvert literally breaks his stick over the back of his opponent!

You've got to wonder if the NHL won't come down on Columbus Blue Jacket forward Matt Clavert for this play.

The optics are rather terrible. With his team down three goals in the final seconds of the third period of Game 2 against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night, Calvert casually skated over to Penguins forward Tom Kuhnhackl and cross-checked him across the back. 

The cross-check literally broke Calvert's stick across the back of Kuhnhackl and as if that wasn't enough, Calvert skated back towards him as he hunched over and hit him again.
