Canadian Olympian goes viral not because of her performance, but because of her OnlyFans account
She's gaining new subscribers faster than you can say, 'pole vault'!
Canadian Olympic pole vaulting star Alysha Newman won her first Olympic medal yesterday, clinching a bronze medal at her third Olympic Games.
The 30 year old native of London, Ontario went viral for her performance yesterday and in part because fans discovered that she has been running an 'OnlyFans' account for a few years now. OnlyFans, of course, is a subscription based online platform that enables Newman to interact with her fans one on one. Typically the platform is used by porn stars and other adult entertainers, but Newman's account doesn't quite rise to the XXX rating.
“I did it! So happy to announce that I am taking home the BRONZE MEDAL and set a new NATIONAL RECORD for Canada,” Newman posted on OnlyFans yesterday following her event. “I am still buzzing from the energy!!!”
Typically it would cost $12.99 a month to subscribe, but Newman is running an Olympics promo for just $7.14 per moonth.
“Thank you guys so much for sharing this moment with me, might pick up some presents for you guys before I leave,” she said yesterday on her account.
“Of course, many people have a certain cliché when they think of OnlyFans. I can’t change many people’s minds,” Newman said in an interview with German publication BILD. “But this website has connected me with many fans, more than any other pole vaulter before… what others think about it doesn’t bother me. I am who I am and I do it well.”
No shame, girl. Get that money however you can.
She typically shares behind the scenes content of her training and competing. Sure, there are some revealing photos but nothing on the level of most OnlyFans accounts.
