Canadiens Fans Take Aim At Dylan Larkin With Huge Chant On Saturday Night.

If fans in Detroit are trying to run former Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin out of town after he made a highly controversial trade demand earlier this summer, the fan base of the Montreal Canadiens is trying to do the exact opposite.

On Saturday night, Larkin and the Red Wings traveled to the Bell Centre in Montreal to face off against the Canadiens and it was only 35 seconds into the game before the crowd began to steal the show. Despite there being relatively little action on the ice, the crowd was electric and it was because they were trying to woo Larkin to their team.

"We want Larkin! We Want Larkin," Habs fans could be heard chanting over and over again.

And they were LOUD!

The chants were so loud in fact that even the broadcast acknowledged what was happening in the building.

Whether or not the Canadiens fans have done enough to convince Larkin to waive his no-trade clause to play in Montreal remains to be seen.
