And it’s all caught on tape, and videos offer a glimpse into the Habs’ unique dressing room chemistry.

There’s something special brewing in Montreal, and no, we’re not just talking about hockey and trade rumours. Over the weekend, Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki married his longtime partner, Caitlin, in a beautiful ceremony that quietly turned into one of the most heartwarming team moments of the summer.

From former teammates Carey Price and Jake Allen to Jeff Petry and nearly the entire current Habs roster, Suzuki’s wedding became a full-blown team reunion. The dance floor was star-studded and the vibe was unreal. Videos shared online (thanks to Patrik Laine’s wife Jordan Leigh Laine) show Suzuki going all out, dancing like a rockstar surrounded by smiling, cheering teammates.

It might seem like a simple celebration, but this kind of chemistry can’t be faked. Not every NHL player invites their entire team to their wedding. Not every team shows up like this. These guys genuinely like each other, and that bond matters.

After years of rebuilding and growing pains, the Canadiens are quietly becoming one of the most tightly knit teams in the NHL. That kind of off-ice connection translates into on-ice trust, especially as the team leans into its young core for the 2025–26 season.

Congratulations to Nick and Caitlin Suzuki on their wedding, but also, hats off to the Canadiens for building more than just a roster. They’re building a culture.

And if the vibes from this weekend are any indication, that could be one of their biggest advantages moving forward with the 2025-26 season a couple of months away.
