Canucks get an important piece back just at the right time.
It wasn't the way anyone wanted his debut season with the Canucks to go, but although Brandon Sutter missed 33 games this season his return comes at a great time for Vancouver.
Sutter who has been out of the line up since Nov. 10th with what was originally believed to be a minor abdominal injury, but eventually ended up being a sports hernia that required surgery and resulted in his prolonged absence, will return to a Canucks team who despite struggling at times this season look like they could be poised to make a run for a playoff spot.
Sutter will bring some much needed depth up the middle back into the line up, and if he can managed to contribute at the 0.5 points per game pace he set earlier in the season he could be the difference between the Canucks making it in, or watching the post season from home. Fans will get to see him tonight when the Canucks face off against the Nasvhille Predators.
