This just in, the Vancouver Canucks have acquired goaltender Louis Domingue from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for minor league goatlender Zane McIntyre.

Big deal, right? A little depth for the stretch drive? Well... Canucks insider Patrick Johnson of The Province newspaper now reports that Markstrom could be out with a potential knee injury.

Jacob Markstrom may be dealing with a knee problem.
He missed practice on Monday in Montreal but the Canucks initially described his absence as “maintenance.”
However, sources report that the Canucks’ star goalie underwent an MRI in Montreal on Monday and is out an indeterminate amount of time.
A Postmedia reporter saw Jacob Markstrom at the team’s hotel early Monday afternoon and the Vezina trophy contender was walking with a notable limp.

Could this have been the play that injured Markstrom?
