The Vancouver Canucks have gotten off to the franchise's worst regular season start since 1997 and head coach Travis Green and GM Jim Benning still reportedly aren't feeling the heat.

Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini met with Benning yesterday and reportedly is not interested in making a change at either the management or the coaching positions. Rather, TSN insider Darren Dreger reports that the Canucks' plan is to... get this... "remain patient."

Hey... it's been eight years of patience, what's a little longer?

Suffice it to say that Dreger's report that Aquilini and the Canucks aren't expected to make any changes was met with a lot of frustration from the team's notoriously fiery fanbase. Canucks fans from across the province came together online in a bit of a coordinated effort to voice their frustration during tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche. Chants of "Fire Benning", "Fire Green" and "We Want Change" have already swept through Rogers Arena during the early goings of tonight's game.

But, sadly, we haven't seen many signs in the building, presumably because security screens everything before it comes in the building. However, one sign... and a giant one at that, is in clear view of everyone watching on TV and... well it's perfect.

A giant "THANK YOU JIM" sign can be seen along the glass in the Canucks defensive zone.

Check it out:

For those not in the know, "Thank You Jim" is an ironic, sarcastic phrase that Canucks fans will often use on Twitter to poke fun at their own fandom and the plight of their team.

Even better though, the "THANK YOU JIM" sign carrier is rocking this incredible jersey featuring the names of more than a dozen of Benning's failed acquisitions:

If this doesn't get the message across to Aquilini that change is needed, nothing will.
