The lowly Vancouver Canucks dropped another decision on home ice last night to drop to a league worst 19-37-8 record on the season.

Fans of the 32nd place team don't have much to cheer for this season other than for a top draft choice in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. And last night, with the Canucks down 2-0 to the Ottawa Senators late in the 3rd period, Canucks fans showed their appreciation to the visiting Senators for helping aid the Canucks in their pursuit of the 1st overall draft pick.

The Vancouver faithful at Rogers Arena actually started chanting, 'Go Sens Go! Go Sens Go!' with just over a minute remaining in the final frame.

Ironically, the Senators desperately need wins to get back in the tight Eastern Conference playoff race so I'm sure they appreciated the support... if only conditional and temporary. The Senators are now three points back of a Wild Card playoff spot.
