The Vancouver Canucks have announced that defenseman Ethan Bear will be out of the team's lineup for 6 months after undergoing shoulder surgery for an injury suffered during the 2023 IIHF World Championships.
The 25 year old Bear is unsigned for next season and will be a restricted free agent (RFA) come July 1st. He was acquired by the Canucks from the Carolina Hurricanes and put up three goals and 16 points in 61 games with his new team.
