According to a report from Vancouver Canucks insider Matt Sekeres of Sportsnet 650, Canucks forward Tim Schaller is pursuing a “change of scenery” for the 2019-20 season, following a disappointing campaign with the team last season.

Check it out:

The 28 year old Schaller played in just 47 games for the Canucks in 2018-19, scoring three goals and 10 points. The season prior however, he scored 12 goals and 22 points in 82 games with the Boston Bruins.

Suffice it to say that Schaller likely won’t net much a return for the Canucks, but if they’re able to shed him and his $1.9 million salary they could free up a regular roster spot for a young forward like Adam Gaudette or Zack MacEwen.
