Vancouver Canucks fans don’t have a lot to cheer for these days, so you can excuse them if they’re a little excited over prospect Brock Boeser after his brief nine game stint with the team late last season. Following the 2015 first round pick’s season at the University of North Dakota he signed an entry-level deal and was ushered into the Canucks’ lineup where he scored four goals to close out the season.

Heading into 2017-18 season the hype around Boeser is huge and the 20 year-old kid is wasting no time this summer in getting ready. Check out this beautiful goal, his second of the game, that Boeser scored in Minnesota’s summer league:

The league, affectionately called “Da Beauty League”, for those who don’t know is a haven for Minnesota native NHLers during the offseason. It features some high-level competition and quality players, but Boeser makes it look like child’s play.

Expect big things from this kid in 2017-18. He’ll be given every opportunity to make the team out of training camp as the Canucks are starved for a player with Boeser’s goal scoring ability.
