In case you missed it, Vancouver Canucks rookie Elias Pettersson made his return to the team’s lineup last night after missing over a week with a concussion, buoying the team to a 5-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild. Pettersson sniped two goals on the evening, bringing his season total to seven goals in seven games. Incredible.

Even more incredible? Both goals were things of absolute beauty. Check out this first one-timer snipe to give the Canucks the lead:

My goodness what a blast. This kid has ALL the tools.

But it was Pettersson's second goal on the evening that really had the place buzzing. Check out this breakaway bar down snipe:

Bar down! This kid is an absolute BEAUTY!

Check out the reaction of this little fan when he realizes who his new favourite hockey player is:

How sweet is that!?

The Canucks would go on to win the game by a score of 5-2 and improve their record this season to 7-6-0. It wasn't all good news for the team though as forward Brandon Sutter crashed HARD into the end boards and did not return. Head coach Travis Green confirmed after the game that Sutter will likely be out for weeks.
