Capitals pull off another trade, ship out Hendrix Lapierre to rival team
The Capitals are officially back in the mix.
This just in, the Washington Capitals have traded forward Hendrix Lapierre to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a 3rd round pick and a 5th round pick.
The 24 year old Lapierre has simply been pushed out of a role given all the recent moves made by the Capitals this offseason.
He'll get a fresh start in Pittsburgh and a chance to take his career to the next level.
