Capitals sign Fehervary to a long-term contract
The 25 year old defenseman commits to DC.
The Washington Capitals have signed 25 year old defenseman Martin Fehervary to a seven year contract worth $6 million per season.
The Slovakian blueliner is heading into his 5th NHL season. He managed a career best 25 points in 81 games last season with the Capitals and helped anchor a solid defensive corps in D.C.
