This just in, according to a report from NHL insider Cam Robinson, the Vegas Golden Knights are on the verge of signing free agent goaltender Carter Hart to a two year contract worth $1.8 million per season.

From Robinson:

Hart is not eligible to play until December 1st, 2025 after serving a suspension from NHL commissioner Gary Bettman. Hart, of course, is one of the five members of team Canada's 2018 World Junior squad who was accused and then exonerated of sexual assault charges.

The 27 year old goaltender did not play at all last season after being cut loose by the Philadelphia Flyers amidst allegations.
