Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy has ruled injured forward Brad Marchand and injured defenseman Torey Krug out of the lineup for tonight’s game against the New Jersey Devils. The fate of Ryan Spooner however, remains up in the air.

Cassidy admits that Spooner is, “a lot closer” to returning than his injured teammates, so consider him a gametime decision. He’ll be a welcomed addition for sure, but the team is really feeling the effects of having Marchand and Krug out of the lineup. The team has managed back to back wins on their recent California road trip, but before that they had lost four in a row.

Hopefully the B’s can get back to full health and pull their heads above water long enough to get back into the playoff hunt.
