What is Mike Johnson on!?
In case you missed it earlier today, Denmark bowed out of the 2026 men's Olympic hockey tournament after a 3-2 loss to Czechia in today's Qualifying matchup.
Czechia moves on now to face Canada tomorrow, while Denmark's hopes for an Olympic medal in hockey are dashed once again. Denmark did, however, did manage to score a victory in the tournament, taking down Latvia 4-2 earlier in the Preliminary Round so it wasn't a total defeat for the emerging hockey nation in Milano.
The Danes featured several NHLers on their team including goaltender Frederik Andersen and forwards Nikolaj Ehlers, Lars Eller and Oliver Bjorkstrand.
Andersen had himself a stellar tournament and his strong play even sparked some debate online today after TSN/CBC Olympic analyst Mike Johnson said that he believes Andersen deserves some consideration for the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Um... ex-squeezee me?
Freddy Andersen? Hall of Fame? Like... the HOCKEY Hall of Fame?
What are we talking about here?

In fairness, Johnson said that Andersen isn't "miles away" from Hall of Fame consideration.
C'mon... I like Freddy as much as anyone but what are the guy's accomplishments? He's never won a Stanley Cup, he hasn't even won a Conference Championship. He has consistently choked in big games and he has zero Vezina Trophy votes or nominations in his career.
So... again... what are we talking about here?
