Charlie McAvoy's wife shares a heartbreaking message on social media

It's been a tough hockey season for Charlie McAvoy... ditto for his wife Kiley McAvoy.

Charlie, of course, underwent jaw surgery earlier this month after taking a slap shot directly to the face.

Charlie is expected to make a full recovery from surgery, but Kiley announced yesterday that not only is her husband in hospital recovering, but the couple's son Rhys is also in hospital. We won't speculate on what's happening with the lil' cutie, but we'll offer up our prayers and well wishes.

Young Rhys was in the hospital this past summer. Here's hoping that his most recent visit doesn't result in anything serious.
