Chris Tanev takes a huge hit from Beecher, leaves the game with injury
The veteran blue liner will not return to action.
This just in, the Toronto Maple Leafs have announced the veteran defenseman Chris Tanev will not return to tonight's game against the Boston Bruins after suffering a upper body injury.
Tanev took a hard hit from Bruins forward John Beecher and appeared to be in discomfort on his way to the Leafs' bench.
