Coach DeBoer and 6 players get ejected from Bruins-Sharks game!

Things got out of hand in the third period of the game between the Boston Bruins and San Jose Sharks last night… 

The Bruins were in control early and during the third period, they were leading 5-1 with the Sharks looked lethargic and out of the game. However, they still had the energy to create havoc, which is what took place towards the end of the game. 

Six players in total were ejected of the game, on top of Sharks head coach Pete DeBoer who was also thrown out of the game. Because of the Sharks’ poor performance since the start of the season, many fans were joking that he had been fired mid-game. 

On top of DeBoer, three Sharks players were sent to the showers before the end of the game. Barclay Goodrow, Logan Couture and Evander Kane were also ejected from the contest. 

They however managed to take some Bruins players out of the game as well. Brett Ritchie, Brad Marchand, and David Backes were also given misconducts.

+1 Ejected Head Coach

Bruins Penalties:
Ritchie - 15 (Fighting Major, Misconduct)
Backes - 10 (Misconduct)
Marchand - 12 (Roughing, Misconduct)
DeBrusk - 2 (Tripping)
Chara - 2 (Roughing)
Grzelcyk - 2 (Roughing)
