The Philadelphia Flyers were largely dominated in Game 1 of their second round series against the Carolina Hurricanes and unfortunately for the Flyers things seem to be only getting worse from there.

During the course of the game we saw two Flyers players get banged up with Christian Dvorak and Travis Sanheim looking to be in rough shape at different points throughout the game.

In the case of Sanheim, he appeared to be favoring his leg after he was on the receiving end of a big hit from Hurricanes forward Jordan Staal. Sanheim could be seen limping, which is never a good sign.

Dvorak was also on the receiving end of a big hit of his own, absorbing one of the biggest hits of the game courtesy of Hurricanes forward Taylor Hall, but the concern around both men really increased after the game itself.

As you might expect, members of the media requested to speak with both Sanheim and Dvorak given the circumstances but neither man was made available by the Flyers. This could very well be an indication that both men are banged up, something that will need to be closely monitored leading into Game 2.

A very difficult start to this series for the Flyers to be sure.
