Concern for Canucks ahead of Game 6 as player leaves warmups.
The Vancouver Canucks may be dealing with some type of injury or illness to one of their key players.
The Vancouver Canucks may have an issue ahead of Game 6.
According to multiple reports, Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers has left the ice after initially joining his team on the ice for warmups ahead of Game 6. It is unclear why Myers has left the ice, but obviously this is a cause for concern ahead of an extremely important game for the Canucks who will have a chance to eliminate the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night.
Update: Thomas Drance is now reporting that Myers has returned from the locker room, although it remains unclear why he only came out for a brief spin before leaving the ice.
Here is a look at tonight's lineup for the Canucks with Myers pencilled in:
Suter-Miller-Boeser
Joshua-Blueger-Garland
Höglander-Lindholm-Pettersson
PDG-Åman-Podkolzin
Hughes-Hronek
Soucy-Myers
Zadorov-Cole
Silovs
Stay tuned for more on this developing story, although we may have to wait until the conclusion of Game 6 to learn what exactly is going on with Myers tonight.
