The Toronto Maple Leafs are in the American capital city this evening, taking on the Washington Capitals and looking to bounce back from yesterday's disappointing 4-3 setback at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers.
But as some have noticed through the first period of tonight's game and that has since been confirmed, one notable Leafs player has yet to see the ice despite being dressed. Tyler Bertuzzi has yet to skate in a single shift:
However, he finally did hit the ice nearly halfway through the first period at Capital One Arena:
As far as we understand, there was no injury that was keeping Bertuzzi off the ice, leading many to speculate that he's being disciplined by head coach Sheldon Keefe.
