Conflicting reports regarding the future of another NHL head coach.

With former New York Islanders head coach Jack Capuano fired yesterday everyone has begun to wonder who will be next?

There has been rampant speculation regarding the future of Winnipeg Jets head coach Paul Maurice, with some going so far as to suggest that it isn't a question of if he will be fired, but rather when he will be fired, however we now have very credible conflicting reports.

On Wednesday morning TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger reported that despite that there was in fact a great deal of noise around the future of Paul Maurice, "ownership and management are as committed to their coach as ever."

Dreger is one of the best insiders in the business and some of his reports in the past would appear to indicate he has a close relationship with Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff, and were inclined to believe his report as a result.
