There was plenty of hype behind National Hockey League prospect Connor Bedard coming into the World Junior Championship, but after a dominant performance at that tournament the excitement surrounding the 17 year old dynamo has reached new levels.

On Sunday night Bedard once again fanned the flames of that hype beast when he returned to the Western Hockey League with a dominant performance that saw him record a whopping 6 points in his return. It was Bedard's first game since the aforementioned World Junior Championship and he once again made a statement, demonstrating that the competition was simply no match for him.

Bedard actually opened the scoring, picking up his first point of the game with a goal less than 9 minutes into his return.

The game would be relatively competitive until the third period, it was then that the young Bedard would completely take over the game.

Bedard recorded his 2nd, 3rd and 4th goals of the night in the third, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 victory with 4 goals and a pair of assists on the night.
