UPDATE: Connor McDavid has won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup Playoffs MVP.

McDavid becomes the first forward from a losing team to win the award since Philadelphia Flyers forward Reggie Leach won the award in 1976.

McDavid was not on the ice to accept the award, as he and his Oilers teammates had already departed the ice for their dressing room.
