We have a very, very interesting situation on our hands.
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri was the victim of a big hit from Calgary Flames defenseman Mike Giordano on Tuesday night and he was very upset after the fact, so much so that he made some questionable gestures and comments after the fact.
Those gestures, a slash across his throat, are easily interpreted as a death threat, and now there are real questions about whether or not the National Hockey League will have to get involved and discipline Kadri. To make matters worse, it appears Kadri repeatedly tells Giordano "You're dead."
Here's a look at how it all went down.
