The Arizona Coyotes informed season-ticket holders on Wednesday that they will play at Mullett Arena next season despite a public vote went against a proposed Tempe Sports and Entertainment district that would have kept the team in the East Valley city.

But the Coyotes shook the confidence of their fans on Thursday when they posted a poll on their different social accounts, asking their fanbase where the team should build their next home.

Insider Frank Seravalli couldn’t believe the Coyotes steep that low, especially after the ongoing struggles to maintain the club in Arizona.

“It is utterly mind blowing that this is a thing. The correct answer is, of course, a municipality that actually wants to have the #Yotes - after two have said no.”

Seravalli was not the only person that got vocal on the Coyotes’ ridiculous business move, asking for fans to weigh in on a matter that could determine if the club undergoes relocation in the coming seasons.

As of Friday, the Coyotes have not yet formulated a long-term plan to stick around in Phoenix or the surrounding area. They have a standing three-year agreement with Arizona State University to play out of Mullett Arena, with an option for a fourth season. The deal took effect in the 2022–23 season, which saw the Coyotes sell out all 41 of their home games at the 4,600-seat facility.

Still, the relocation are growing louder, and some fans even answered the poll with different posts hinting at a move to Salt Lake City or Atlanta, if the Coyotes are unable to secure a backup solution in the desert. Cities in responses also included Houston, Mexico City, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Quebec City, Saskatoon and Halifax.

If the Coyotes were to make a poll if this was a pathetic and embarrassing question about their new home, the answer would be an overwhelming 100% yes.
