Coyotes could somehow STILL return to Arizona in the future!

You've got to be kidding!

This is almost like watching a car accident that's so bad that you want to look away, but just can't.

By now, you've surely seen the news reports that the wheels are apparently in motion for the Arizona Coyotes to move to Salt Lake City, Utah as soon as next season. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, current Coyotes owner Alex  Meruelo could be paid upwards of $1 billion for the team, while prospective Utah franchise owner Ryan Smith could pay up to $1.2 billion for the purchase.

But there's a stipulation from Friedman that defies all reasonable logic, meaning that it is 100% on brand for the National Hockey League and Commissioner Gary Bettman, who continues his obsession with making this failing franchise work in the desert.

Per Friedman:

"Those same sources indicate he could be offered a five-year exclusive window to “bring back” the Coyotes as an expansion franchise — although there would be certain language stating what would need to be accomplished for him to return. (The league definitely desires a return to the market if it leaves.)"

You have seriously got to be kidding me! The Coyotes could "return" again at some point to start this whole process over and continuing to embarrass the sport of hockey?

Please, for the love of God, take a page out of the beloved children's Disney movie "Frozen" and just LET IT GO already!
