"So just f***ing do it! Do it hard, and do it right!"
It's put up or shut up time for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The team has lost five games in a row, they're currently 8-9-2 on the season and they're just one win up on the lowly Buffalo Sabres for last place in the Atlantic Division.
This is a team with their backs up against the wall and head coach Craig Berube has seen enough. Berube was seen ripping into his team at practice today for refusing to play the puck up the boards. The game, as they say, is won and lost on the boards and the Leafs aren't exactly the type kind of team to muck it up along the boards.
Check out this clip from practice today:
I've got to say...
If you have to work this hard to get your team to play hard along the boards, it says more about the team's work ethic and character than it does about the coaching.
