Thoughts, Leafs fans?
Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll has been on a self imposed leave of absence for personal reasons since the team's training camp last month. The Leafs are 1-2-0 on the season and there are rumors that Woll is nearing a return, but evidently he won't be available to the team tonight agains the Nashville Predators.
Head coach Craig Berube confirmed this morning that newcomer Cayden Primeau will make his Leafs debut this evening with Anthony Stolarz backing him up.
Primeau, of course, was picked up off waivers from the Montreal Canadiens earlier this month. The 26 year old netminder has played 55 NHL games over six seasons, all with the Habs. Last season he split his campaign between the Habs and their AHL affiliate Laval Rocket.
