Not only were things getting out of hand on the scoreboard last night at Crypto.com Arena for the visiting Minnesota Wild against the host Los Angeles Kings, but things started getting out of hand in terms of physicality on the ice.
The Kings demolished the Wild by a 6-0 final score, with Anze Kopitar scoring his 1,200th career point. And midway through the 3rd period with the score already out of reach, Minnesota's Ryan Hartman took matters into his own hands by jumping Pierre-Luc Dubois, seeing off a wild melee.
Hartman, Zach Bogosian, Jake Lucchini, Mason Shaw, Adam Beckman, Declan Chisholm, Dubois, Anze Kopitar, Quinton Byfield, Adrian Kempe, Vladislav Gavrikov and Matt Roy all found themselves being assessed 10-minute misconduct penalties and ejected.
