That's literally less than a bag of pucks lol
According to an online report coming out of the KHL, 25 year old defenseman Vladislav Leontiev was traded from Admiral Vladivostok to Shanghai Dragons for 1000 Russian rubles, the equivalent of about $13 USD.
Officially, the deal is for 'financial considerations' and it's believed that 1000 rubles is the minimum amount that a team can pay for a player in the KHL.
$13 USD can't even get you a bag of pucks in 2026... this guy was traded literally for less than a 10 pack of hockey tape... yeesh.
