In case you missed it, captain Sidney Crosby made his return to action last night after being sidelined for the past week with an upper body injury and… well let’s just say that the superstar didn’t exactly take his time easing back into things.

Crosby had a goal and an assist in the Penguins 5-0 victory over the Dallas Stars, snapping an ugly four game losing skid.

Safe to say that Crosby is happy to be back… but probably not quite as much as his head coach and teammates are happy for him to be back.

“We have a lot of depth and I think every line was going,” Crosby said after the game. “It was a big win for us.”

“I think our team gets a foot taller when he’s in our lineup because of the inspiration he is for our group,” said head coach Mike Sullivan. “He cares so much about the Penguins and trying to help this team win."
