Crosby’s dad Troy gets emotional as Penguins play tribute for his son

Sidney Crosby knows how to write a good story. On Tuesday night, the Pittsburgh Penguins’ captain scored the 500th goal of his career.This is not only his 500th career goal, it is also his 150th power-play goal and his 50th against the Flyers! It is only fitting he scored it against the Philly. Evgeni Malkin recorded the lone assist on the goal.

After celebrating with his teammates, getting the love from the crowd and going into the dressing room for the intermission,

Crosby came back and the Penguins had put together a tribute video for his 500 goals.

Upon watching the video, his parents Trina and Troy were seen getting emotional as they look proud of their son’s accomplishments.
