The injury to Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby caught everyone by complete surprise, including both the Penguins and Crosby, and as a result there was a great deal of concern surrounding it.

On Tuesday Crosby spoke to the media for the first time since his injury, and while there's no doubt that the concerns remain given his history with concussions, his comments did appear to indicate that there was very little concern on his end.

"I feel pretty good. I was happy to be able to skate today," said Crosby via the Penguins.

When he was asked on his recovery Crosby as a little more vague, which was probably the right answer.

"You just have to treat them the right way... I'm comfortable and confident that things will be okay."

The Penguins have vowed to take things slow and allow Crosby all the time he needs to recover, and when asked about a time frame Crosby appeared to be leaning towards taking it slow as well.

"It's day-to-day. There is no cut and dry."

The big take away here is the fact he skated today, and appears to be well enough to continue his physical activity, as for how the injury actually happened Crosby did touch on it but left that answer vague as well.

"I just got tangled up in practice in Friday and I didn't really think anything of it."
