He's missed the last 13 games with injury.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been without the services of forward Calle Jarnkrok since the All-Star break when he suffered a broken knuckle; he's missed 13 games.
They're back in action on home ice tomorrow against the Original 6 rival New York Rangers, and it's been announced that Jarnkrok is "very close" to returning. He's already participated in practice:
He had originally suffered the injury during a practice session after he was hit in the hand by a shot from a teammate.
Jarnkrok, who is in the second year of a four-year, $8.4 million contract, has scored 10 goals with nine assists in the 46 games he's appeared in this season for the Leafs.
