Crucial updates released on Jakub Vrana, Robby Fabbri
Good news if you're a Red Wings fan!

The Detroit Red Wings welcomed back forward Jakub Vrana to practice earlier this month for the first time since he entered the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program on October 19. The issue for Vrana's having entered the program remains private, as explained by the man himself following his first practice session.
Of course, the Red Wings will want to give Vrana all the opportunity to get himself back into game shape before he makes his return to the lineup. And to that end, they'll be sending him to their American Hockey League affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins for a three game conditioning stint.
Additionally, Detroit has been without the services of forward Robby Fabbri since March of last season when he suffered a torn ACL; he could potentially make a return to action in early January.
The Red Wings are next in action tomorrow night at PPG Paints Arena against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
