Cunningham back on skates 2 months after losing his leg!

How about that!

Some stories are much more inspirational than others. However, this one is probably at the very top of our emotional chart, and it took an even better turn today.

For those who may be unfamiliar with his story, Craig Cunningham has played 63 games in the NHL and was playing for the AHL Tucson Roadrunners this year. He collapsed during a game back in November due to cardiac fibrillation and his recovery didn't go so well. He was amputated from the knee down on his left leg after circulatory problems.

However, it didn't kill his spirit at all. Since then, he's the very definition of a superhero. Today, he laced back the skates and was back on the ice shooting pucks!

Many would have fallen in a depression following such a traumatic event, but Cunningham is not your average guy. Good for him!
