Cutter Gauthier's reputation in Philadelphia takes yet another hit.

The Philadelphia Flyers and their fan base aren't exactly big fans of Anaheim Ducks star forward Cutter Gauthier, and unfortunately I suspect that relationship is about to sour even further.

A viral clip from former Flyers forward Scott Hartnell has somewhat bizarrely gained a second life on social media years after it was originally recorded, and in that clip Hartnell makes some pretty damning claims about the now seemingly universally hated, in the city of Philly, Gauthier. In the clip Hartnell makes some pretty damning allegations against Gauthier when he reveals that Gauthier disrespected a Flyers legend.

"They sent out John LeClair, one of the most decorated US hockey players... and this young punk is saying 'No I don't wanna talk to you' like have a little bit of respect in the game of hockey and of your elders," said Hartnell almost in disbelief.

What makes this particular story from Hartnell so bad for Gauthier are the other names involved. Hartnell himself is a beloved former Flyer who won over the hearts and minds of that city many years ago, and that goes double for LeClair as well. LeClair was infamously one third of the Flyers dreaded "Legion of Doom" and is still revered by hockey fans in that city 3 decades after his peak of popularity as a player on the ice.

Gauthier could already be considered something of a public enemy #1 in the city of Philadelphia as far as hockey fans are concerned, and if he wasn't this story from Hartnell may very well have cemented that status.
