In typical Sedin style

Daniel Sedin has been known for being more the goal scorer of the two Sedin brothers. However, last night against the Chicago Blackhawks, he registered his 900th career point on a nice dish to his brother while on a 5 on 3 power play. It was a typical Sedin goal, just usually it is Daniel who is putting it home.

The Sedin's have been as dominant a duo can be for a team all these years. It seems like just yesterday Daniel was recording his first NHL point against the Lightning in the 2000-2001 season. 900 points later and he is still a force in the NHL. With his average of 0.83 points per game, reaching the 1000 point mark doesn't seem that far off. He and his brother still have a few years of hockey left in them for sure.

Daniel went on to celebrate during the game, recording his 6th career hat trick after he reached the special mark. It is also nice to see a player do all of this with the same team.

Congrats Daniel! We wish you many more points and look forward to celebrating your 1000th point in a Canucks uniform.
