Daniel with a sweet snipe in OT

After the 1st period, it didn't look like this game was going to go how Vancouver wanted it to. They were down 2-0 to the Panthers who were looking for their 13th straight win. Vancouver had outshot them in the first 13-7 but were on the wrong end of a 2 goal deficit.

The effort was there and then cue the comeback. Daniel Sedin made it 2-1 after two periods and then Jake Virtanen scored his second goal of the season of a faceoff to tie the game at 2-2 with under 3 minutes left to play in the third period.

Then overtime. Jaromir Jagr took a hooking call against the newest Canuck Emerson Etem. Teams really have to realize that extra time and space is a dangerous thing for the Sedins and that was exactly what happened. It only took 14 seconds into their power play for Daniel to fire home the winner. Daniel circled around the right side of the zone after getting the drop pass from his brother then when he got to the high slot he ripped it passed Roberto Luongo off the crossbar glove side.
