Darnell Nurse and the Oilers hand Bruins a historical loss
A night to remember for Oilers fans!
HockeyFeed
Ladies and gentlemen, the 2022-23 Boston Bruins are fallible.
The Bruins entered this evening as the NHL's only team to have not lost a game in regulation after holding a lead. Thanks to Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers though that streak has come to an end. The Bruins had a 2-0 lead through one period of play, but dropped three straight goals to the Oilers in a 3-2 loss.
The irony? McDavid was held without a point on the evening.
In fact, it was defenseman Darnell Nurse who iced the game with a beauty late in the 3rd period:
Wow...
That's a HUGE win for the Oilers. These are the kind of Ws that can really pull a team together and the Oilers could damn sure use some of that.
