Earlier today Darryl Sutter seemed to indicate that the Kings and he would find a way to make a deal come together, and now it's all but official.

According to a report from Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times, the Kings and Sutter have come to terms on a new deal, and that deal will give Sutter a significant pay raise, taking him from $2.25 million per season to upwards of the $3 million mark(more than Todd McLellan in Edmonton as per Dillman).

While this is not an official announcement from the Kings, according to Dillman a source familiar with the situation has confirmed it's a done deal, and an announcement can be expected as early as Friday. The contract length of the deal appears to stil lbe somewhat of a myster at this time.
